Being a hairstylist is not just a career for me. It’s a passion. I have always been an extremely creative individual. To be able to use my creativity every day to make people look and feel good is a blessing. I did my schooling at the Paul Mitchell the school of Raleigh and graduated in early 2019. Since then I have worked and had training at an upscale salon in Garner. I’ve attended trainings and hair shows in Charlotte and out in LA. I am very passionate when it comes to accomplishing the perfect blonde. I also love corrective color (especially box color mishaps), and creative color. As for hair coloring the possibilities are endless and I will always continue to keep up on the latest color trends along with constantly fine tuning timeless colors. I love making my clients feel beautiful and being able to have their hair vision come to life is one of the best feelings ever! I also pride myself on listening and working with my clients so we can achieve the perfect style for each and every one of you! I am so happy to be a part of the Salon 29:11 family.

I am an intuitive and skilled professional, passionate about helping others become the best version of themselves.
Growing up in Texas, I studied Cosmetology while attending High School. After graduation, I started my career as a Licensed Cosmetologist. Self-employed, I honed my craft behind the chair as a hairstylist, makeup, and nail artist—even working on photoshoots and stage performance sets throughout the years. After more than 10 years in the business, I migrated to a management position. Shortly after, I changed careers to support my family’s painting company.
In 2006, I moved to North Carolina where I first earned my License in Massage from Johnston Community College and continued my education, receiving my Associate in Applied Science and Certification in Neuromuscular Therapy from Pitt Community College. I continue to seek learning opportunities in Massage Therapy and hold many CEU Certifications, including Contemporary Cupping Methods, Trigger Point Therapy, Pain Reduction for backs, Pain Reduction for knees and Repetitive Use Injury Therapy (RUIT).
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to new places with my husband and tending to my vegetable and flower gardens. I often make floral arrangements for friends, dry flowers to use in my resin crafts and create personal essential oil blends. I have a strong interest in essential oils and will often have specialized blends diffusing in my therapy room. My name is Christi Collins and I am a licensed massage and bodywork therapist in North Carolina. I am originally from Michigan but have called North Carolina home for the last 5 years. I have been married to a teacher/coach, Jim since 1997 and having raised three amazing children this has kept me busy and with that learning.
Myself being an athlete in high school I understand all too well the “old sports injuries” that creep up on us as we age. While raising children who played sports and being around athletics it became my desire to help people recover from injuries and restore them to their best physically. I received training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Reflexology, Polarity, Myofascial Release and Hot Stone massage. I have also used Craniosacral holds to help clients during their session. Upon completion of my schooling I then received my certification for Pain-Free Posture and Effective Treatments for Sciatica.
As someone who loves to learn it is my passion to seek out ways to help others. My overall goal is to help my client to relax, get relief and restore them to their full potential.
